Takumikan is located in a great location facing Miyagawa Asaichi Street, just a minute's walk from the old townscape. It is used by many tourists as a one-stop facility where they can take a break, eat, and shop in between sightseeing in Hida Takayama.
We would like to be a place where you can fully enjoy the charm of Hida Takayama and enjoy sightseeing while relaxing during your sightseeing. Sincerely hope that your time at Takumikan will become a part of your wonderful memories of sightseeing in Hida Takayama.

A complex where you can enjoy Hida Takayama

A three-story complex that brings together the charms of Hida Takayama. On the first floor, you can enjoy the café menu in a relaxed space, as well as souvenirs from Hida Takayama and craft works by artisans, making it a perfect place to make memories of your trip.
On the second floor, you can see and touch Hida furniture up close, where traditional techniques are still alive, and feel the craftsmanship.
On the third floor, there is a furniture outlet corner, a custom-made furniture corner for offices, and a Creative Lounge where you can get high-quality furniture at a reasonable price. Please enjoy a special space surrounded by the culture and warmth of Hida.

La Chaise

You can enjoy coffee and lunch on 1F on the Asaichi-dori side. Relax and enjoy the natural wood tables and warm space. Dogs are allowed to accompany you on the terrace seats.

On 1F, you’ll find Hida Takayama’s specialties and our private brand, "TaKuMi craft," featuring woodworking accessories, famous sweets, and ceramics.
